An Enlarged Heart

"I will run in the way of your commandments 
when you enlarge my heart" - Psalm 119:32

It requires an enlarged heart to obey God. We live in a world of great opposition and we only overcome its struggles with great passion.  Imagine simply trying to put you head to the matter and exerting effort to follow God's ways without heart.  It would be fleeting at best and impossible most of the time.  The promise of this passage is that God will give us the heart, the courage, the passion we need to not merely walk or crawl in his ways but to RUN!  

Pray today for an enlarged heart for the things of God.  He will be quick to answer that prayer.
